PHYSIOTHERAPIST

TEMPORARY REGULAR PART TIME POSITION

An opportunity exists for a Temporary Regular Part Time Physiotherapist effective August 2010 for approximately 12 months. 

The physiotherapist will provide comprehensive assessments and patient-centered treatment in an inter-disciplinary environment and will be committed to maintain the standards of practice of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to ensure that patients will receive the highest quality of physiotherapy care.  

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, team player who participates in discipline-specific and interdisciplinary activities that promotes quality patient care. The ability to carry a varied caseload is required as the physiotherapist provides services to rehabilitation, complex continuing care and acute care patients.   

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Computer proficiency is required as Brockville General Hospital embarks on implementing an electronic health record.  

Graduation from a recognized Physiotherapy program with a Masters or Baccalaureate Degree and registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario is required. A minimum of two years experience in a combination of acute care, complex continuing care and rehabilitation services is required.
