Visiting Hours

The current assigned times for visiting patients at Brockville General Hospital is as follows:

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

 
 

Brockville General Hospital Visiting Policy

As an outcome of provincial directives, all hospitals are required to review visiting guidelines. We are making an effort to meet infection control guidelines as well as ensuring Patients’ need for socialization. This is an on-going process. If you feel ill please do not visit.

  • Visiting is restricted to immediate family, significant others and clergy.

  • Children under 12 are not permitted.

  • Limit of 2 visitors per in-patient at one time.

  • Visiting hours: 1pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.

  • All visitors are requested to use antibacterial hand cleanser when entering and leaving nursing units.

  • All Same Day Surgery and out patients will be allowed 1 escort. Emergency if assistance needed.

  • Pediatric - a parent is encouraged to stay.

  • Maternity- 1 person can stay with patient. Siblings will be allowed.

  • Exceptions will be discussed with the health care team including the physician.
