Popular Great Trivia Challenge to be Re-Scheduled
Brockville—The Bayshore Great Trivia Challenge normally held the last Wednesday in October is being tentatively re-scheduled to early
April 2012, says event Chair Keith Hare.
The fundraiser, held in support of the Brockville and District Hospice Palliative Care Service, raised over $4400 last year. Funds are
gathered from the entry fees, 50/50 draw, silent auction and several sponsors including the major event sponsor Bayshore Home Health.
Teams of four members each are challenged in a total of 10 unique categories inspired by a great collection of new and classic trivia
game shows and board games.
The event next April will be the eighth annual run of the Great Trivia Challenge.
“The funds raised by the Challenge help provide much needed compassionate care and support to those patients and families who are
dealing with terminal illness,” says Hare. “That struggle is something that touches everyone in the community.”
There is room for more helping hands for the Great Trivia Challenge. Those interested in helping out as a volunteer for this event may
contact Keith Hare at 613-345-0660 extension 3126 for more information.
