BGH Hosts Mock Disaster Exercise May 18th

Brockville—If you see extra activity, ambulances, tents or police cars around Brockville General Hospital on May 18th, don’t panic advises BGH Communications Officer Maggie Wheeler.

“We are hosting a mock disaster to test our systems,” explains Wheeler. “It’s a proactive measure in case this city ever really faced a major situation.”

The exercise will involve other services that would respond in such an event, including the Brockville Fire Department, the Brockville Police Department and paramedic services.
