Strategic Legacies donates TVs for BGH waiting areas

Brian U’Ren, second from
left, President of Strategic Legacies and the author of
Roots of Wealth, has donated two
new 42-inch high-definition televisions to Brockville General Hospital for
the main entrance and Emergency Department waiting areas. Mr. U’Ren said the
idea came from his wife, Laura. The televisions are valued at $4,800. Stuart
Spurrell, right, of Mark’s Stereo Centre donated the time to install both
TVs. Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Executive Director Joan
McLaughlin, left, and BGH President and CEO Ray Marshall thanked them for
their generous donation. Strategic Legacies has given to BGH many times and
is an annual sponsor for the Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament.
“It’s the little things that can make a difference,” said Mr. U’Ren. “The
TVs make a family’s time at the hospital a little easier.”
