NEWS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Friday, September 25, 2009 *photo attached * Royal Scarlet Edwardsburgh donates $1,200 to Palliative Care The Royal Scarlet Edwardsburgh Chapter has done it again! Each year, the group holds a ham-and-bean supper and donates the funds toward the Brockville and District Hospice Palliative Care Service of Brockville General Hospital. Clarence Barkley, left, the Past Commander and Fundraising Committee Chair, and David Dudley, Past Commander, presented a cheque for $1,200 from this year’s supper to Linda Di Labio, Coordinator of the Palliative Care Service. To date, Royal Scarlet Edwardsburgh has donated $8,400 to Palliative Care.
