PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

IMMEDIATE RELEASE Register now for Friends of Palliative Care Golf Tournament Now is the time to register for the Friends of Palliative Care 16th Annual Golf Tournament, to be held Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Brockville Country Club. Golfers, please note that this year, the tournament is being held before Labour Day. The popular tournament is a four-person shotgun scramble and has two draws, at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Be sure to register early and pay in full to guarantee your preferred spot! Single golfers are welcome. Registration includes a full round of golf, a cart provided by Motor Coils Mfg. Inc., a quality memento, beverage cart courtesy of A-1 Radiator and Tire, fresh fruit and water provided by Metro Brockville, barbecue lunch provided by Kelsey’s, cocktail hour and reception, dinner courtesy of Strategic Legacies Inc., dinner beverages courtesy of Brockville & Area Dental Association, entertainment sponsored by Coldwell Banker/Brockhaven Realty and a draw table with prizes. Special auction items will be available. Morning golfers can enjoy a complimentary afternoon cruise and refreshments with Captain Andy of 1000 Islands and Seaway Cruises aboard the Seafox. The tournament is a fundraiser in support of Brockville and District Hospice Palliative Care Service.
