NEWS RELEASE April 21, 2009 Leon’s donates furniture to BGH
Leon’s has generously donated $6,000 in furniture for a new Care by Parent Room in the Maternal/Child Unit of Brockville General Hospital. On April 21, Leon’s officials visited BGH to view the room and celebrate with a cake decorated with the Leon’s logo. From left are Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Chair Kevin Tackaberry, Vice-President Clinical Services Bernadette MacDonald, franchise Co-owner Peter McKercher, Leon’s President and CEO Terry Leon, franchise Co-owners Mark and Paul McKercher, Director of Surgical and Maternal/Child Care Anne Rodger, Leon’s Store Manager Don Heron and Foundation Executive Director Joan McLaughlin.
