BGH welcomes orthopedic
surgeon Dr. Steven Mussett

A new orthopedic
surgeon has set up office at Brockville General Hospital. Dr. Steven
Mussett, who specializes in foot-ankle orthopedic surgery, started
seeing patients in his office at the hospital in early July.
“Dr. Mussett is a
highly trained, skilled surgeon who adds to our growing capacity to
offer orthopedic surgery to the Brockville area,” says Chief of Staff
Dr. Robert Beveridge. “His ability is complemented by an enthusiastic
personal style, expected to endear him to both patients and staff.”
Dr. Mussett has
relocated from Toronto, where he recently completed a foot-ankle
fellowship at the University of Toronto. He has a Bachelor of Medicine
and Surgery from University of Capetown in South Africa, and his
post-graduate residency was at the University of Ottawa. |
The lifestyle of
Brockville and area attracted Dr. Mussett to BGH, where he came for a locum
last year. “The people around here are down-to-earth and super-friendly – at
the hospital and in the community,” he said. “My wife feels the same way.
And the kids are really happy.”

Alex have two young children, Ben and Elizabeth.
His office is at the
Charles Street Site of Brockville General Hospital, 3rd Floor,
Suite 305. The office is accepting referrals from family physicians.
