BGH Celebrates Physician Appreciation Week

February 6TH to 12TH

Brockville—Brockville General Hospital is hosting its annual Physician Appreciation Week February 6th to 12th.

“Physicians’ Week is an opportunity for all of us to recognize the achievements of physicians representing the various disciplines,” says Hugh Bates, Chair of the BGH Board of Governors. “On behalf of the Board, I congratulate our doctors on the contributions they make in the daily lives of our patients, their families, our hospital staff, and members of our community.”

Highlighting the week is the Physicians’ Reception hosted at the Wedgewood on Thursday, February 10th. Brockville General Hospital has over 125 physicians providing services to the community. Pictured here are (l – r) Ray Marshall, BGH President and CEO, and Hugh Bates, Board Chair, serving complimentary beverages to Dr. Jay Jaworski  and Dr. David Beattie—both family practitioners with the Upper Canada Family Health Team in Brockville. It’s coffee on the house for the doctors all week at both BGH sites.
