RELEASE 2009 Palliative Care Telethon raises $148,000 Palliative Care Telethon Chair Bruce Wylie presented a cheque for $148,000 from the 2009 Telethon to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation this week. The 2010 Telethon will be held Jan. 30-31. Mr. Wylie said despite the challenging economic times, he hopes the 2010 total will be even higher. The BGH Palliative Care Service is an important program supported entirely through donations, which have included more than $2 million from the telethon over the past 26 years.
