PatIent and Family Centred Care

Transform the patient and family experience!

Our Patient and Family Advisory Council brings together patients and families with staff members, under the common goal of understanding the patient and family experience.

We strive for continuous improvement and teamwork, as outlined in our strategic plan.

With the support of our Patient Advisory Council, we will provide and outstanding patient-centered hospital experience.

How Does it Work?

There will be an initial orientation for all members to explain how the meetings will take place and to meet the staff involved.

What Are My Commitments?

The council will meet once a month to discuss hospital initiatives and concerns/topics that are brought up by staff and by you, our patient/family advisors.

What Are the Benefits?

As a council member, you will be able to provide input through the use of your own personal hospital experiences so that, as a team, we can improve the healthcare experience and truly have it a patient-centered experience.
